PHP for NetWare
PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor

PHP (PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) is a general purpose, cross-platform, HTML-embedded, server-side scripting language for creating dynamic Web pages. It provides a wide range of extensions for LDAP, XML, OpenSSL, MySQL and other databases.

PHP for NetWare is based on the industry standard PHP. It supports script execution through Web (using mod_php) and command line as well. The combination of PHP / Perl, Apache Web Server and MySQL database on NetWare is popularly known as NAMP. Most of the PHP open source applications can be hosted on NetWare using NAMP, with minimal or no modifications.

The current shipping version of PHP on NetWare is based on the open source PHP version 5.

PHP extensions can be easily developed for NetWare by making minor modifications in the open source code. The extensions must be built for NetWare using the CodeWarrior compiler and LibC headers.
